  Well placed coming into Carnac. Very easy to find. Free car parking right opposite was bonus. Room large and bed comfortable. Only a few minutes walk into Carnac town where we found some lovely restaurants but further to beach. Good value for money.

  we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the only thing that we can think of to improve was there was no tea or coffee fasilitys and could of done with a fridge in room.

  The rooms "to village" are facing the cities main street - without air conditioning there is no sleep in summer.

  As always the staff were attentive polite and friendly, the rooms facing garden are a delight, and as this was probably at least our 6th stay i think this says it all.

  The room was clean. The bathroom was very dated with no shower but had been cleaned. Only a 10 minute walk to the stones.

  Although not as expensive as some other hotels in Carnac, the facilities were basic. Noise/televisions of other rooms easily heard through the walls. The hotel had a restaurant, which was our last option, but even then we were surprised at the terrible standard of the meal which was 23 e a head. Everything was from the cash and carry it seemed and both desserts were actually mouldy! I think the locals knew something we didn't and gave this place a really wide berth - the dining room was vast and empty! We asked for a bottle of local cider as the wine was so marked up and on checking out we discovered we had been charged 15 euros for it. Ditto the tiny aperitifs. Breakfast for 9 euros was adequate but limited. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if there is another available choice - take it! If stuck there - don't stay for dinner.

  Brilliant location - near the megaliths, market, beaches, shops and restaurants. Clean, comfortable and spacious, at a very fair price.

  It was a pity they did not serve meals in the restaurant on Saturdays - not good for weekend travellers. But we found a great restaurant within easy walking distance.
